My friend and I had booked here for a meal after shopping on the first December Wednesday late night opening on Columbia Road. We had lovely meals, tasty, and very nice wine,in the upstairs dining room. The staff memberwho greeted us and served us was very nice and helpful and friendly . He checked several times if everything was alright It was very busy downstairs and people were celebrating, but it felt festive and Christmas is coming. We will go back!

Would recommend to go after visiting Columbia flower market. Very wholesome vibe, great restaurant roast and cracking wine (chocolate bloc) - awesome Sunday Vibes.

Had an absolutely delicious Sunday roast at The Royal Oak! Perfectly cooked meat, crispy roast potatoes, and rich, flavourful gravy — everything you want in a proper roast. The Yorkshire pudding was huge and perfectly puffed, and the veg was fresh and well seasoned. Cozy atmosphere with great service and a lovely pub vibe. Highly recommend booking ahead — it’s popular for a reason!
